The system consists of a series of fully enclosed single-phase busbar track modules designed to be assembled directly onto the floor slab of a raised/cavity floor installation using the integral floor fixing flanges.
The Electropatent single-phase track system consists of two main parts featuring, the starter MCM module and the extension EM module.
The single-phase busbar modules can be fixed directly onto the floor slab, walls ceilings and or on unistrut. The track comes with integral fixing flanges, which are used to fix the track to the floor slab. The track is provided with a choice of six socket colours and three Earthing configurations. The ‘Multipoint Powerfloor’ system is available as:
If required, spacer brackets can be provided for raising the track off the floor slab.
This is cheaper method than using the unistrut type arrangement.
Spacer bracket kits are especially useful for any small power busbar / Powertrack installations where the floor is very uneven or has obstacles which need bridging.
Another important and overlooked reason is risk of flooding or rising damp, which are more serious for the client / end user long term.
Hence, we would usually recommend spacer brackets if the floor void can accommodate.
Spacer sets are available from 5mm to 200mm, however the most common is 20 -30mm variants.
Electropatent Powerfloor track can offer a choice of six socket colours and three Earthing configurations.
These are ideally suited for multiple power supply configurations. This system is ideally suited for trader desk arrangements, where multiple power sources are used.
Multiple supplies are essential part of the mission critical infrastructure for Disaster recovery design and planning.
Specialised banking furniture can be easily be integrated using our multi track island units or dual track system.
Any number of combinations can be configured to suit a particular application.
however, majority of the applications still use standard & UPS supply.I some instances where socket density was the primary requirement, both rows of sockets were used for one supply.
This makes the Powerfloor system extremely adaptable for any given scenario. The ‘Multipoint Powerfloor’ Dual Track system is available as:
Available form 1 to 15 sockets in various lengths and socket pitches. The track is most commonly supplied as 1.87m or 2.47m lengths.
