Available In Various Configurations, Can Be Supplied As:

Tap offs with keyed plugs are offered where physical discrimination of a system is required.  This ensures that the correct tap off is fitted to the power supply.

Electropatent tap-offs can be supplied with 40 Amp rating with 6mm sq. cables, without the need for fuses in the plugs. Hence no need for fuses under the raised floor, which is generally considered bad practice.

3.0m rule for tap-offs

    • Electropatent 40 Amp track is provided with 40 Amp rated tap-offs. Therefore NO fusing is necessary as there is NO down rating of the current carrying capacity.
    • Hence, where lengths longer than 3m are required, unfused tap off can be used without length restriction.
    • the raised floor is bad practice and should be avoided wherever possible, as fuse replacement means having to lift the floor tiles and floor finish and more than likely moving furniture as well – so would be considered poor choice for the client / end user.
